Hi, I'm completely new to October. I've installed my first project locally just today. I have a problem with using plugins.

  1. I registered online,
  2. I created a project online,
  3. I added plugin to the project.
  4. I copied project ID from my online account.

Now I try to attach the project in the localhost backend panel, but I get 'Invalid project ID' error. Do I need to set up anything else in the local project to connect to the online account?

Make sure there are no spaces at the beginning of the Project ID. I have just added a fix to trim these off in the latest build.

croncat
croncat

I also have this issue, with no spaces in (or around) the Project ID.

Running on NGINX, HHVM & MariaDB with build 242.

EDIT: Waited an hour, and apparently a new project key generated somehow. Now it works.

This is a semi old thread, but I just had the same issue. Clicking the "projects" tab and then re-loading the project generates a different project key than the one displayed when the project is first created. Using the new key works.
