Hi all,

Im lightly confused on how to setup users for the backend. When i create a lets say "editor" user, then this user has only access to a part of the backend. Wich is what i would want and expect. While i can set options for some plugins, im missing other plugins, like the rainlabs blog, flynsarmy menu, Octoslider and Octocase. Though i can set the options for the Flynsarmy menu plugin, the menu link/icon in the top menu is not there when i login for this "editor" user. So are all other plugins, except System, Octomail, and CMS.

How do i set up a user, that has access to the plugins butt not certain system options?

I just tested my menu plugin. If you set Menus - Access Menus to allow, the menu icon shows up in the top. Perhaps you didn't set it correctly for this editor user.

still doesn't work.
I've created a editor group, for every option possible in the group and for the user i gave access.
Except super user.

Still no menu item, and im still missing other plugins. Have to dig deeper i guess.

Not sure what you've done wrong. I can't replicate your issue in my plugin.
