Hi all,

I am a complete newbie in web development. So far, I know only PHP and got used to octobercms. Now, to level up with octobercms, to build custom plugins and more, what are the languages, frameworks, concepts, or technologies I should learn?

First of all octobercms is based on laravel: https://laravel.com

If you know a bit of laravel, you already have the knowledge to do quite a lot with octobercms.

What helped me a lot, are the videos from Watch and Learn on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3SmnExVW0Ag&list=PLUBR53Dw-Ef-X-_A1KLy41r2QArCBy4rM

These videos may be a little bit outdated in some places, but should give you a basic understandig of many concepts.
