  3. how to enable gzip on combined css and js files ?

hi,

i'm using nginx with gzip, but unfortunately css or js files that are combined don't get gziped. i would suppose this happens, because they don't have a prefix of .js or .css.

any ideas on how to solve this?

Did you try a

location /combine

and inside this gzip for everythink?

hmm, add: "text/javascript to" my nginx.conf file and it that seemed to solve the problem.
