Hello,

I want to retrieve some data where they are in an external database out of the october cms. For example, I have a database named 'myoctober' which is created at the time I install the october cms but I want to get some data from an existing database named 'mycms'.

I already checked the document page and it seems I could but I couldn't figure out exactly what to do. I've tried to modify the config/database.php and add the mysql part but it didn't work.

Please, could someone help me or give me any hint to do this?
