Hi, i have a strange issue… my website is online and works fine but google can't crawl it… webmaster tools says it can't find the page (on root or /index.php) and october "Request logs" tells me it's a 404. Weird thing is that i have no issue to access the index page (or admin etc), the 404 seems to fire just for google. Is there something in the htaccess that could be a problem for google ? (I first thought it was a dns issue but my hosting provider says it's all ok.) Thanks for helping...

Hi, i'm back with this issue... I've took time to update my october installation (i was still using the beta), and was thinking it was probably the problem here. But unfortunately it was not. So i have a fresh install of october on a gandi server but google's webmaster tools still can't see my website. My htaccess is unmodified, it's the original one... Perhaps i should uncomment and modify the RewriteBase, but i'm not sure what to put here. Does anyone works on gandi servers ?

Hello, could you solve the problem? I have a similar problem. My website is multilingual (de + en). Everything works properly if I change the language in my navigation and go to the respective website.

However, the Google Bot (and others) can't find any of my English pages (404) except the root URL. Now: If I call the English URL directly in my browser, I also get a 404 error. Unless I have changed the navigation language to English in another browser tab before.

However, this seems to have something to do with the Translate Plugin. I'm already desperate.
