Is there a way to have the app generate relative URLs instead of absolute when I use filters. For a example, instead of http://mywebsite.dev/themes/demo/assets/images/pic.png to have /themes/demo/assets/images/pic.png?

Yeah, you can create your own filter.

+1 for dmag question. Would be nice if that was the default and one had to make a filter if one wanted absolute URLs. Using full URLs causes issues when you deploy with a reverse proxy. E.g. it will spit out http:// links instead of https://
