Hi,

Me and the organisation I am working for have been experiencing quite frequent internal server errors since implementing OctoberCMS. I'm new to OctoberCMS and PHP so it's difficult for me to pin-point what might be causing this problem.

Nothing specific seems to trigger the error although, using the back-end seem to function as a catalyst for producing the error.

There are a significant amount of processes going on in the back-end. I work in conjunction with our media coordinator and he writes frequent news articles which are published to the site using Rainlab's blog plugin. That on top of OctoberCMS and the analytics constantly gathering data.

I'm also consistently making tweaks and changes to different areas of the website so, is there too much stress on the server?

The internal server errors don't occur for long periods of time. In fact, it recovers fairly quickly, usually returning to normal within 10 - 20 minutes.

I read another forum post of talks regarding a .htaccess rewrite but, since the post was over a year old I considered it to be out of date.

Replies are much appreciated. We want to try and get this bug solved as soon as possible.

Thank you.
