Is there a way to listen to an event on the front-end, that is fired from the back-end:

Scenario: Frontend: Leaderboard for a sports tournament.-> Listen event: "score updated". Back-end: Manage the records: if a match is played and the score is updated -> Fire event "score updated".

Thus: When updating a record in the back-end; the front-end will know and update accordingly.

I looked at the documentation of "events" but it seems that the events do not apply to the front-end.

Is there a way to do this? (other than refreshing every 10 seconds)
