Is it possible to extend the redactor functionality? I want to add certain plugins to redactor (rich editor widget) as explained in imperavi's documentation ( http://imperavi.com/redactor/plugins/video/). Problem is I need to re-initialize redactor in it's full form for this. (I think?)

October has overwritten (or disabled?) the standard embed functionality of Redactor and adding in the source will strip e.g. iframes. I'm using an custom CKeditor for this now, but I'd love to extend the richeditor with extra functionality.

Is there anyway to add the plugin through $this->addJs(/path/to/redactor/plugin);?

how did u manage to do this at the end? I'm also in that position where I need to use a redactor plugin
