I am creating a new support post to draw your attention back to this issue. In my previous post, since the WYSIWYG's "add a video" button fails, I tried using Embedly instead. As per the plugin's docs, I created an Embedly account and put my API key in the settings. In the post, I created a link to the video and set its text to "embedly". This also failed to work as documented, and on the front end the post displays a link that says "embedly" rather than embedding the video.

Frankly, so far I am pretty disappointed with this plugin. For $35, I do expect features to work as documented. And when they don't, I expect prompt support -- not just initially, but until the issue is resolved.

Ok - I hear you. Understand a couple things. 1) I don't work on weekends. Sorry. 2) your first request is not at all a function of the plugin but instead a widget provided by the core. 3) I will certainly take time investigating both. However, 4) I don't much care for your expectations either way....more especially if you "demand" they be met. Do you really want help???? Then be respectful and patient please.

My apologies. I'm dealing with an impatient client, and then I became an impatient client. That was lame -- sorry!

Re: the WYSIWYG video button -- it looks a little different from the core WYSIWYG I'm used to seeing, so I assumed you were using something different. But in any case, it seems that youtube videos cannot be rendered this way (with an html5 <video> tag), so don't worry about looking into that.

Please let me know if there's anything else you need from me in order to troubleshoot the Embedly integration. And sorry again for spouting off.

I just tested both. embed.ly works great - just make sure you add your API key in the ProBlog Settings. The video embed works well if you use the regular editor instead of the markdown editor, also set in the ProBlog Settings. Again, that is not a disfunction in the addon, but the core as that is the core markdown editor widget used. I also tested in the Rainlab Blog plugin in markdown mode, and it also does not handle the video insert correctly. So when/if that gets fixed, it will likely resolve this shortcoming automatically, or when/if they add support in the Rainlab blog I can deduce from that an appropriate course. So for expedience sake, you may want to grab a free copy of the Rainlab blog and install a sandbox copy somewhere, and the check me on this. If you find the same to be true, put a ticket into their support area to highlight a core shortcoming. If you find it is working in markdown in the Rainlab blog, make sure you report back and let me know. I could not get it working in my local testing.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong -- I have entered my API key.

Does this look right? If I provide it to you, could you test using my API key? Thanks.
