Hello!
Social sharing buttons plugin is a "Sharing" plugin that you can use for sharing posts on social media that support this feature. As i know currently instagram does not support sharing feature. So i guess that why the Plugin Author didn't have instagram on supported social media.
You can use the social media fields that is in theme settings to add instagram as a external link on footer.

Hello!
I understand your problem. This is because i used 4 "hardcoded" fields for social media. So to fix this issue i deleted those fields from contactus block and for social media automatically gets social media you have inserted on theme settings on "Social Tab". So now you can insert your own social media.

I updated theme adding this feature. Update your theme to see this feature.
Let me know if that help you.

Go to settings -> frontend theme-> manage->delete
Then go to settings->plugins->de-attach project
Then attach project again
