Hi,

i get the "Database missing" error page when trying to access the backend of OctoberCMS. I configured the SQL-Connection accordingly in config/database.php and the artisan script was able to create the database and the tables without problem. Still, the page says i don't have it configured. I searched through all log files on my system high and low but nothing seems to print out information on this error. I installed the necessary php extensions and activated them in the php.ini, but still, it doesn't work. I'm out of ideas at this point and don't know what to do anymore.

My System is an Arch Linux. I use MariaDB for the databases. PHP is version 7.2. Webserver is an nginx. Anyone else having this problem?

Had the same issue but I later realized I had mistyped the DB username when creating it but the .env file was correct. For anyone who may come along it could be the same issue maybe, cross check the credentials letter for letter.

I had a similar mistake as alex.migwi29876 had, if someone has any other kind of issue with the database, please provide more information.
