As far as I can see there is no way to remove themes from a project. Removing Plugins is working but well would be nice to have that feature also available for themes.

Cheers,

Alex

This was a feature implemented fairly recently, you can click on the manage theme button and there is a "delete" option for you to use.

Are we talking about the same?

You should go to the themes management page in /backend settings. Remiving a theme there will remove it from the project.

But there should be provision on project page to remove these theme (like plugins) from project at october website.

Up.

Still not able to remove themes via Projects (https://octobercms.com/account/project/), meaning that anytime you update via /backend, the themes get downloaded again.

Only workaround I see is to detach the project, create a new one with one theme and associate it (again).

Cheers,

this is very frustrating to not be able to remove the theme. HYDROGEN theme is causing me to not be able to update my ENTIRE project and I have a paid plugin attached to this project. Please help ASAP!

Please add this feature to account projects! I am tired of deleting testing themes after cms/project updates!

Same issue here. Having multiple paid plugins attached to a project with a broken theme, that makes it unable to update my project. Error: A theme with name "" could not be found

I second all of the above. Downloaded a bunch of themes to test and now that I've made the choice of the one I want, I can't get rid of the others, they re-download with every update, and cannot be "frozen" like plugin updates can.

I have the same problem. It seems this problem has been going on for over a year. So ether I (and many more) am doing something wrong or missing something. If the fix is posted elsewhere, here would be a good place to add it since this was the first link when searching for my problem.

This is a feature that is absolutely necessary, I am building my own theme and I can't remove all the other themes I've tested. I guess I will just have to create a new project then. Really frustrating!!
