← Back to Modular Theme with PAGE BUILDER - Clear Support
We just purchased our 3rd copy from Charis's set of themes. Delighted! We have a situation where we would like to have something like this: -- Nav --
-- CRUD section from theme --
-- Custom Partial (snippet) --
-- Another CRUD section --
-- Etc--
Could we please have some tips on the best way, preferably without having to hack the standard sections Any tips appreciated

Hi!
I was looking to find an easy and practical way for the clients to make this possible. So i created a "custom block".
Using this block in your pages now you would be able to create custom blocks anywhere in the page. You choose "custom block" and then you put your html code inside code editor. If you need any custom css you can use custom css on theme settings.
I just updated Clear Theme for this feature. You have to update theme before you can use it.
I hope this will satisfy your needs.
Brilliant again. This releases for us, where we plan widespread use your templates, a significant log jam while to keep our page architecture strong. If anyone needs to know why your templates are good, send them to us :-)
Charis - we just
- Updated plugins
- Cleared cache
- Can't yet see the new module
Probably missing something. Should we deinstall reinstall?

Hello!
Latest theme version now is 1.0.9. Check if this is your theme version first. If this is your installed version just use "Custom block" as any other block in your pages.
If this is not your latest theme you have to update theme. If you have problems try to delete theme, deattach project, clear cache and then attach project again.

Hi Again! The version on the site is showing is 1.0.8.
Renamed the theme directory (we have a partial build there), removed the project, reloaded the key and watched download.
It moves quite fast but it did appear that there was no sign of the theme.
Untrained comment: Does the update plugins routine update themes as well? We can download a zip and manually install if that would give a chance to investigate Thanks very much
Attach your project and try to turn on Edge updates on file config->cms.php. Then try again to look for theme updates using "check for updates" button.

Normally if you just delete theme and then redownload it will pull the latest version. Let me know if that will work. Thank you.
Cool thanks - we are all good now. Let us know if you need help with further testing Kindest regards

I'm glad the problem solved. If you have time , you can write an quick review and rating if the theme satisfies you! This helps other people and also helps me so that I can do my best to improve this theme.
