A calm Tailwind CSS showcase theme for the Renick.Content block editor. Install it, seed the demo, and you have a complete site: pages, blog, jobs and shop.

Highlights

  • Tailwind CSS v4. Bootstrap is never loaded.
  • Light and dark mode. Follows the visitor's system, or fix it in the customizer. A header toggle remembers the choice.
  • Customizer, no rebuild. Brand name, logo, primary color (shade scale derived), corners (sharp, soft, round), three self-hosted typeface sets, default color mode, page transitions.
  • 11 Dusk blocks: hero, hero numbers, features, pricing table, data table, blog slider, jobs listing, bento grid, logo cloud, team, newsletter.
  • Every other editor block restyled in Tailwind, so content looks the same in the editor preview and on the site.
  • Tailor content: pages, blog with tags, categories and pagination, job postings, mega menu, appointment request form (October CMS 4.4+).
  • Demo content included: 9 pages, 7 blog posts, 4 jobs. One command seeds it.
  • Shop templates for OFFLINE.Mall through the Renick.Content shop scaffold.
  • RainLab.Pages 2.x and 3.x supported through a static layout.
  • SEO: title, description, canonical, Open Graph, Twitter Card and JSON-LD (WebPage, Organization, LocalBusiness, BlogPosting, JobPosting).
  • Turbo view transitions between pages (October CMS 4.3+).
  • Easy to re-skin: a bundled skill creates a child theme.

Requirements

  • October CMS 4.x, PHP 8.4.1 or later.
  • Renick.Content 1.1.0 or later (paid plugin, required).
  • Optional: RainLab.Pages, OFFLINE.Mall.
  • English only. RainLab.Translate is not required.

Installation

  1. Install Renick.Content and Dusk from the Marketplace (php artisan project:sync).
  2. Seed the demo: php artisan theme:seed renick-dusk (php artisan theme:list shows the folder name).
  3. Activate the theme, then open Settings, Frontend Theme, Customize.

License

Dusk is MIT licensed. Bundled fonts are SIL OFL 1.1. The Renick.Content plugin is not covered by the MIT license.

Installation via Command Line

Rebuild CSS (only after editing templates)

The shipped assets/dist/dusk.css contains only the classes Dusk's templates use.

cd themes/<theme-folder> npx @tailwindcss/cli@4.3.3 -i assets/src/app.css -o assets/dist/dusk.css --minify

Customize

  • Colors, corners, fonts, mode: Settings, Frontend Theme, Customize.
  • Deeper re-skin: child theme with the bundled skill in skills/create-child-theme/.
  • Plugin block markup is overridden in partials/renick-content/.
  • Shop: enable the OFFLINE.Mall integration in the Renick.Content settings, then run the shop scaffold.
