← Back to Cumulus subscriptions Support
Hi there,
We're having some trouble with assigning users to an existing plan and was wondering if you could provide some assistances?
For example, when we open an user's profile in the backend, we see this in the "initbiz.cumuluscore::lang.users.cluster_label" tab.
Any guidances would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot.
Hi there,
Just want to follow up on my previous enquiry, we were wondering if it's possible perform the assignment of subscriptions in a bulk form using the some sort of formatted CSV data?
Please let us know. Thanks again.
Hi,
To clarify, users are attached to clusters and clusters to plans. You cannot add user to plan directly by design.
Those language messages are showing instead of translated messages because you found a bug which I will fix in next version :)
When it comes to bulk actions I haven't implemented any of these yet. Describe me your scenario please, I will take a closer look at it.
Hi,
Awesome, thanks for the clarification. We will make sure to setup clusters first before assigning the plan.
Regarding the bulk import, we were currently migrating user subscriptions from a WordPress site over to OctoberCMS so was wondering if the plugin comes with any API that we can call to expedite the process.
Basically, our plan was to write a custom script to through the CSV file line by line and then use the plugin's API to assign users to a certain cluster and plan.
The CSV format would be something like: |--User--|--Cluster--|--Plan--|
We understand this isn't part of the plugin support per se so any points would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I think I would do it using seeder in a custom plugin. The seeder have to create all unique plans, clusters as well as users and just connect them together. This sounds pretty easy to develop using OctoberCMS.
This might be a good idea for a new feature of Cumulus to import such data.
BTW I offer paid support and develop paid features so if you're interested in such a service don't hesitate to contact me at tomasz@init.biz.
