How can i create an external link using OCTOBER CMS.,for example i would like to link my CV to a website but OCTOBER cannot load word formart

By the sounds of it, this is not an issue with menumanager, rather with OctoberCMS.

But upload your CV as a PDF (never a Word Documnet) and link to that asset should do the trick.

Out of all the formats that OctoberCMS supports, i did not see the PDF format. That's why i have problems uploading it in either of the two formarts.
