Trumbowyg FormWidget

This plugin requires manual replacement for form widgets in fields.yaml files, which may be overwritten during plugin updates. Please remember this when making updates to modified plugins.

Trumbowyg FormWidget for OctoberCMS

This plugin includes Trumbowyg Editor and Upload plugin.

Installation and Setup

To use the plugin, simply change the content formwidget type from codeeditor/richeditor/markdown to Eein\Wysiwyg\FormWidgets\Trumbowyg in any fields.yaml file.

Please note:

  • The plugin does not automatically change fields.yaml for you.
  • You will have to reassign the content type in fields.yaml update the CMS or any modified plugin.
  • Uploads are stored in /uploads/public/wysiwyg/[:slug or title]

  • Why are images failing to upload?

Make sure your uploads directories are recursively CHMOD'd to 0777

  • How do install this plugin?

Please see the setup above. You can use the plugin anywhere you set a content field.

  • I installed the plugin, why doesn't the RainLab.Blog plugin automatically change?

You have to manually edit the fields.yaml file for the blog post form field. For more information about form fields, click here.

How to use your plugin to create/modify Content ? I tried to add type: Eein\Wysiwyg\FormWidgets\Trumbowyg to modules/cms/classes/content/fields.yaml? but no luck — admin panel just hangs out when I try to open Content element.

I can be wrong here, but every update I have to hack into core files again? Isn't that against plugin concept?
