Use the Cookie Consent JavaScript based solution in your OctoberCMS to adapt your web page with the EU cookie laws. The original Cookie Consent was developed by SilkTide and released under GPLv3, this solution is just for adapt to OctoberCMS.

The code is hosted in GitHub (https://github.com/carlosrgzm/CookieConsent)

After installation:

  1. Open your selected page/layout, and add the component to it.
  2. Drag the component Cookie Consent to a CMS page or layout. The position of the component in the page/layout doesn't really count, but I recommend you put just before the closing HEAD tag
  3. Click on the component to edit all texts to fit your preferences and language.
  4. That's it. The Cookie Consent is going to be displayed in your web page.

Useful plugin. Don't consider the notice of Vojta Svodoba as the plugin is not a copy of the other one (that doesn't work for me too)

Instead of providing a general settings, this plugin add a component to embed the cookie consent popup on the page you want, which sounds better to me.

This plugin looks like duplicate of http://octobercms.com/plugin/nsrosenqvist-cookieconsent Or what is the difference?

Hi Vojta Svoboda, I think they are the same. I've decided upload a new implementation because I was having a lot of problems using http://octobercms.com/plugin/nsrosenqvist-cookieconsent, for some reason that I don't know, I couldn't make it work for me. That's all
