Hello i'm pretty new to october cms and really happy that i found it now for my future projects.
My first step was to adopt my favorite theme and make it customizable through the theme settings. Now i want to make it more dynamically and want to show different forms after select an item in a dropdown...
i have a dropdown on one of my settings pages.... after a user selected an item of this dropdown, a specific form should appear to make the settings
for example the dropdown let the user select, if he want a slideshow or a single image on the frontpage header. If he choose image on the dropdown, a form to setup the image should appear and otherwise the user choose slideshow on the dropdown, a form to setup the slideshow should appear
how can i define, that only one form is visible at same moment, which the user has select through the dropdown?
ok, for me the best way was to add a partial to my fields.yaml
load_script: tab: Index page span: left type: partial path: ~/themes/your_theme/config/_load_script.htm
in this file i've added a section to manipulate the appearance of the settings page, just what i want :)
