I'm very new to October and can't quite get my head around one or two things. Maybe someone can help. I'm trying to use the Instagram Hashtag plug in. I've set it up and now the documentation says "Now you only need to add the component to your page and render it with the component tag {% component 'hashFeed' %}"

Can that {% component 'hashFeed' %} go directly into a static page ? when I do that it just displays it literally. Or, should it go into a partial, and that partial be included in the page

Components can't go directly into StaticPages.

Add the component into a partial and give the partial a snippet code. Then add the snippet into your static page.
