Beside creating real websites, I can see OctoberCMS being very useful for rapidly creating prototypes. Is there a way to integrate frontend frameworks like Zurb Foundation or Twitter Bootstrap?

I believe you would create a theme that uses one of those. No matter what you still have to create your layouts according to which framework you use.
