"the current commission (gratitude) rate is flat and its value is 30%. In the future the commission rate will be progressive and will depend on the author's sales volume."

Maybe I am reading things wrong here, so please feel free to correct me if I am.

Is this statement implying that if I create a plugin for October and want to sell it that I am only going to receive 30% of the revenue? Or that I have to pay 30%?

Either way, if this is indeed the case this doesn't make much sense to me as it doesn't provide much incentive to develop for this platform as opposed to WP, joomla, drupal, or any of the other open source cms's.

Can someone please clarify? Thanks.

I've always read it so that you get 70% and the sales agent (OctoberCMS) get 30%. Just like an app store.

Thanks. That makes a lot more sense. Hopefully you are correct.

That's true. The gratitude rate is 30 percent..
