Hi - I am having an annoying issue that is sending me round in circles! Basically I have developed a theme and a website locally and am trying to run on the server. I have it all working, all URLs the backend etc but none of the public files are being loaded (/public), so no front end. My troubleshooting has got me as far as realising it is to do with the .htaccess file. If I comment out all of the white list folders it works absolutely perfectly (but naturally I do not want to leave the .htaccess like this). I am certain it is to do with the RewriteBase - although this just gives me a 500 error on the site on the server. Can anyone help me out please? I am hosting the site using shared hosting and the site in question is an add on domain. The install is at root/mydomain/public_html Thanks for any help!
