- I'm using homestead with vagrant and have my site bound to
octobercms_test.app
and correctly set up in my /etc/hosts file, as listed in the laravel 4.2 documentation: http://laravel.com/docs/homestead - I used
adminarea
as my backend url string - With my installation finished, I'm able to view the root page no problem:
- However when I attempt to visit the admin backend at
http://octobercms_test:8000/adminarea
I get a Page not found, due to the url becoming malformed:
Is this a result of using homestead? I'm new to homestead/vagrant; I was able to successfully run an OctoberCMS installation with MAMP without any such issues. I'm trying to move my development to using vagrant boxes, so this is probably just a mistake on my end, but any input would be appreciated.

Hey, Just wondered if you were able to resolve this and if so how?
I have the same problem, and am a bit stumped.
Thanks
Kevin

inside install_files folder you will find install.log file and there you will find backend_uri.
