Would it be possible or too much work to apply your plugin to database entities like a Blog post? I realize that this is a completely different story than storing a copy of a file, but my customers are bothered that they cannot preview their blog posts. Having to tell them to leave it unpublished is an awkward "solution" if you can even call it that - because currently, you can't even preview it after saving (without having to find it on the website first, because there is no button in the backend).

Of course, this would require you to select a layout then... hmm... as I'm writing this, it's getting more and more work already, and knowing you're busy doesn't make it better. However, I'm leaving this here for whenever you may or may not feel like it!
