I have to move some settings into the db (because of security issues). Therefore I created the model and Settings, registered these settings and I load them at the onRun method into the Plugin-Class. I get no error messages, but it doesn't work - the db settings do not show up within the settings form. It's quite hard to find an failure without error message and therefore I looked at some similar plugins and I am not able to find differences. Are there any options to debug it? Do I have to add them manually to some configuration?

ok, I found the problem. I tried to add some sort of Component setting, but the settings show up within the system settings.
