Part of a website we've created for my company uses Laravel and Angular (SPA) but we have other "static" pages that are currently in a different framework, I found OctoberCMS and really like the architecture (and specifically the structured templating) and have started a project to convert to October, but I've come across a problem with using the session in our custom defined routes. I used the oc-laravelapi-plugin as an example and logged an issue on that projects github page: https://github.com/daftspunk/oc-laravelapi-plugin/issues/7

We would really appreciate any suggestions and help figure out if I'm doing something wrong or if there is something wrong with custom routes.

Thanks to Samuel Georges, he pointed me in the right direction and also corrected the example in the repository. Basically you need to add the web middleware to your routes
