I have added custom page fields to a static page from the layout using this code {variable name="leftColtext" label="Left Column Text" tab="Welcome left Column" type="richeditor"}{/variable} I have installed the ckeditor plugin and in modules/cms/page/fields.yaml I have changed the type in markup and code to ShahiemSeymor\Ckeditor\FormWidgets\Wysiwyg from codeeditor.

I can use the wysiwyg and save and it looks good on the front end but when i reload the backend page for editing, all content is stripped out of the wysiwyg.

Can anyone point me to were I am losing the content and tell me how to get around this?
