I did a fresh install of october cms on my production server. Although the install script set everything was ok, I just got a blank page when I went to my url.

Then I copied a working installation of october from my local server to the producion server. On navigating to the url I saw a short flash of my complete homepage but it immediatly dissapeared. On reloading i got an emtpy response. After echoing some text from the index.php file (which worked) I restored the index.php file to its original state and saw my homepage again after a reload. Now it didn't go away, but after I did a reload the empty response appeared again. And that is what i keep getting since then.

What i know from other frameworks is that a blank page mostly means that there is a write attempt to some (log) file which fails. But all my files are writeable. Why don't I see any errors and why does october manage to render the page succesfully twice, and not all the other requests? I cannot make any sense out of this.

Any thoughts on this?
