Nothing simple and easy sorry. It simply wasn't something I'd considered.

If it's needed, you can play around with the twig templates and update them accordingly. That's not simple but it would be the only way to get it to work.

@benfreke You should really consider that. It's quite of important for a couple of paid themes I use.

For version 2, if I ever build it, it will definitely have the option.

I can think of a few hacks to do it, but nothing I'd actually recommend.
