When I try to install a private plugin to a project I got the follow error message:

The specified code could not be found

I followed the instruction that is displayed in the backend:

Private plugins never appear in the plugin search in the October CMS Administration Area. To install the plugin, go to the Settings / Updates & Plugins page, click Install Plugins, paste the plugin code Eq3w.Onboarding and hit Enter.

The only possibility to add the plugin was with a unique code generated under "Enable Protected mode" within the Access-Tab.

Why this is not working with "normal" plugin code ?
Is this a bug or is there something I misunderstood ?
