Does ProBlog support expirations?

i.e. I want to have a post about an upcoming event, but I'd like to the post to automatically disappear after the event has occurred. Is this possible?

You may want to look at ProEvents. You could extend ProBlog for sure (or I could at our hourly rate) to do what you're wanting.
