If I am on a 'tag page' -- something like /blog/tag/example -- any tag or category links aren't prefixing the url's with a slash ( / ).

This causes url's like: /blog/tag/example/blog/category/somecategory and therefore causes 404's. This also happens on the category page too. The links to the blog post (post title links) seem to work fine, but other links like tags and/or categories from a given tag / category page aren't adding the initial slash.

Also I just noticed on my blogPosts (main blog list) page the link to the category in the line like: 'Posted in Category' aren't actually linking to anything either, the href is blank. This only seems to happen on the main blogposts page.

Thanks in advance!

v1.5.9 should improve the category linking from the post. The tags / categories sidebar components should have a component setting that dictates where those go to. Make sure that is set. If you have any custom views, also make sure that their code matches the logic outlined in the provided example views.

Thanks yet again for being awesome and prompt for support! I really do appreciate it! The category having no href seems to be fixed, but I'm still experiencing two issues:

  • The tag links in the 'footer' of the post on both tag and category pages are still not prepended with a '/' properly. This can be seen here and here by hovering over any of the tag links in the "Tags: Tag1, Tag2, etc..." line... if they had a slash at the beginning, I assume they'd work?
  • On a blog post page, the tag links (at the bottom) now do not have anything within the 'href' attribute.

I am using the default component and haven't modified (forked?) them.

Thank you! Those 404's have been bugging me. :) Have a nice day and rock on!

Hey just a heads up, there's still a small bug I believe. The problem from my 2nd bullet point in the post above still exists. The links in the "Tags: Tag1, Tag2, etc..." line on a single blog post page aren't going anywhere. No rush on this one, cheers!
