Hello guys,

I need some help with the RainLab Translate plugin.
Is it possible to load a page in the correct language based on the URL?

For example: I have a page called www.mypage.com/user and the default language is english. But now I a have link to the german page called www.mypage.com/benutzer. When I click the german link (from a Mail or whatever...) I get a 404 error, because the default langauge is english so he cannot find the german page until I switched the language from the page to german.

Is there a way to open the page in the right langauge independently of which language is currently saved in the session?

Thanks for your help.

Just use the language in the URL like this:

www.mypage.com/de/benutzer

Thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately, our customer doesn't want to use language shortcode in the URL. Is there another way to realize that?

It's either that or one sub-domain per language.
