Hello! I am new to Disqus. How we can easily get the API key needed to run this plugin?

I too am not sure how to do this. I created an application in disqus and that gave me public and private keys. But the octobercms only asks for one key. Is there some other key this is referring to?

I thik this plugin is outdated, you need to provide the forum shortname that Disqus give's you.

The forum shortname IS your API key. I will update the documentation.
