Maps were working perfectly until I installed an SSL certificate on the website. Now I get this error in console:

Mixed Content: The page at 'https://site-name-omitted.co.uk/contact' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure script 'http://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js?key=AIzaSyA4oY-_ZhCabyEPETE4LawpzseGzxh6mW0&callback=initMaps'. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.

How can I fix this?

The plugin is loading the API via HTTP, I just sent an update with the fix to change it to HTTPS. Update to the new version, refresh the browser and it should work. I hope it works, if not please contact me again.
