I've tried this now. A brilliant idea. But it doesn't work. I sais: You are using BnB.ScaffoldTranslation plugin overridden command. To switch back to default OctoberCMS command, disable or uninstall this plugin. But there is no difference at all. No language files are created and the english text is still present in the scaffold files. What might the problem be?

You could try to force the save of the settings (in back-end settings, System > Scaffold Translation, the switch must be On, then save to force the value in database).

I've pushed an update (1.0.11) that fix the default value. Thanks for pointing this.
