Settings
Plugin settings are found by navigating to Mailing List > Settings in the admin panel.
Mail Configurations
By default, campaigns are sent using the system mail settings. Mail configurations let campaigns send from a different address or through a different transport, for example, a dedicated marketing mail service.
Each configuration has the following fields.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | A name to identify the configuration. |
| Slug | A unique code for the configuration, generated from the name. |
| From E-Mail Address | The sender email address. |
| From Name | The sender name. |
| Transport | The mail transport, selected from the transports configured for the system. |
Set the Default Mail Configuration to use a configuration for every campaign, otherwise the system mail settings are used. Individual campaigns can override the default using their Mail Method field.
Schedule Cache
The scheduler checks the database every five minutes for campaigns that are due. To avoid querying the database on every check, enable the schedule cache in the .env file. The plugin then caches the next time a campaign is due.
SCHEDULE_CACHE=true
The schedule cache requires a cache store that persists between requests, such as the file, database or Redis store.
Multisite
By default, campaigns are shared across all sites. If every site should have its own campaigns, open the config/multisite.php file and set the responsiv_campaign_message feature to true.
'features' => [
// ...
'responsiv_campaign_message' => true,
],
Each campaign is then rendered in its own site, using the site's locale, URL and theme. This includes the next run of a repeating campaign, which the scheduler creates without a backend user.
