Is there a good resource from copying from a dev server to a live site?

What folders need to be copied over? Just the theme and the plugins?

It's been so long since I've been working on the dev site, I have forgotten what's changed.

I'm my experience it is better to do a fresh install, link it to a project on the october website, and then move custom plugins or themes and, in theory, it should all work. If you are moving to the new version of October some plugins might have issues but ppl on this forum are helpful in solving them.
