Not sure why, but it's claiming that everything system-wise is up-to-date and that none of the plugins have updates available, when clearly, that is not the case looking at the screenshot below:
I'm guessing this has something to do with the difference between
php artisan october:up
(which would look for version.yaml file changes?)
php artisan october:update
(which would check for new code upstream?)
Thanks, that helps clear it up, thank you! I was just confused because in the docs, it simply says that
october:up- updates all installed plugins.
whereas under the #Utility commands section it has
october:update- Updates October via the Update Gateway will connect to the October gateway and update the core and all installed plugins.
so I guess the difference is (as you mentioned)
october:up uses local version.yaml whereas
october:update checks the gateway for updates.
Maybe that just went over my head when reading the docs.. Appreciate your response, makes sense and
october:update works just fine!
