Back to Signatures Support

Hi, I couldn't make Signature plugin to work with jQuery versions 3.2.x or 3.3.x. I had to switch back my theme (at least for the required pages) to 2.1.x, with which it works fine. Is that correct ? Thank you, Regards. François

That should not be the case. Sorry that I will not be able to work on this for a week or so.

I will play with this then and see if I can figure out what is going on. I did have some trouble with my own site and the JS of this plugin but thought I had worked out the issue. I may need to do more testing to see how I can improve this and make it even more reliable.

Thanks for reporting.

OK... I had a few minutes to test this a little.

It works with jquery/3.3.1/jquery.min.js on one of my sparse Layouts. When I tried on another layout with more complex stuff and more scripts I keep getting:

"signature.js:1 Uncaught TypeError: $ is not a function"

This is happening even when loading signature script last. I will keep playing.

Fixed. Update to : 1.0.3 - Update to jquery 3.x Fixes Jquery onload error.

Edit - This fixed part of the problem. I had to remove a "noconfilct()" from another script to get this to work with only one loading of jQuery.
