That would allow a separate WYSIWYG editor for each section of a page.

I didn't know that CMS pages can render any tab for editing placeholders content.

As far as I know only Rainlab.Pages plugin does this (and it renders every placeholder on separate tab).

So am I missing something here?

@jan-vince Correct. That's why I posted it within the Feature Request channel.

I got it now :)

Just a note: I personaly not let my clients work in CMS area - Rainlab.Pages plugin does a great job here. You can use {%placeholder%} and even much more powerful {%variable%} to allow clients to edit content in WYSIWYG editors.

@jan-vince Yes, I use the Static Pages plugin for all of my projects, but it would be nice if each Placeholder could appear within a separate tab when editing a CMS page, just to offer another option that doesn't rely on the installation of a plugin.

Sure - I would love to see CMS + Static Pages combined, but I think it's not a nature of CMS area :)
