Hello everyone,

I hope a similar topic was not created before, I did not find anything about it but I could be wrong. If so I am sorry.

I am currently working on a plugin to link the active directory of my company with October CMS.

With this plugin I wanted to be able to manage access to pages based on a user's groups thanks to a component which is basically a copy of the Session component of RainLab.User with some little differences. But the behavior is the same.

It is getting a copy of groups inside the user groups table and then checks if the user is a member of the groups which were selected in the component with the inspector.

The issue is that the groups names are too long to be displayed properly by the inspector because the naming convention of groups in the active directory can make them really long.

Here is the behavior I want to avoid : Too long group name

I just wanted to know if there was a way for me to change the way the inspector is displaying things so that the names appear correctly.

Unfortunately, I could not find anything about it in the inspector doc ( or maybe I missed it :( ).

I hope I was clear enough.

Have a nice day !
