We've made some improvements to the scoring algorithm used to rank plugins and themes found on the marketplace. There's also a new project management feature giving you the ability to (finally) delete your unwanted projects.

Recently some members of the October CMS community were invited to join our new Partner program. This program is an effort to build a strong team of service providers who work with October allowing them to list their businesses on this website. Today we are revealing the Partners page which we hope will be a valuable resource for connecting end users with developers, designers and hosting providers from all around the world.

Today is October's third anniversary! So many exciting things have happened since our second birthday. The biggest milestone was the Stable Release accompanied with a complete website redesign, followed by the introduction of some new Marketplace features -- Coupon codes and Extended licenses.

We are happy to announce the introduction of Extended licenses for all October plugins and themes. The main difference between an Extended and Regular license is that if you purchase an Extended license for a plugin or theme, you can use that product for an unlimited number of projects.

Today we're announcing coupon codes - a new marketing tool for our authors. This is a great tool for authors looking for ways to stir up new interest or to increase your appeal to web studios in a competitive market.

We have seen multiple issues with the Marketplace payments where users from specific countries aren't able to buy a plugin or theme. PayPal has limited support in some countries, which affects both authors and customers. Today we released an important update which goal is to improve the situation.

Today is a long-awaited date for all of us, October has finally reached a stable release! Over the past two and a half years October has become a go-to platform for many developers and clients. It has been installed more than 100 thousand times, there are thousands of active users and these numbers grow steadily every day.

We have recently made some updates to the license agreements for paid plugins and also introduced a new payment processing approach. We hope this helps the group of customers who were not able to make payments for plugins or themes.
